Bronx is a 9-month old puppy who was “in the back” of a North Carolina shelter. That means the dog is unadoptable and simply awaiting euthanasia if a rescue doesn’t save him. Bronx had a broken leg, and therefor was not suitable for adoption.
WAGS swooped in and save him and committed to an expensive surgery to fix his leg. The Tortorella Foundation made a donation to help with a portion of his surgery. We are anxiously waiting to hear back about his progress and will update you as soon as we hear.
